Falkenstein Castle Ruin

At the beginning of the tour there is a short introduction to the topic of the Middle Ages.

What was life like for children in the Middle Ages, how did people actually live in a castle and could the castle inhabitants read and write?
During the guided tour, the beautiful and secret places of the Falkenstein castle ruins are explored and the children learn about life in a castle. The tour team tells about medieval life in an age-appropriate way, about knights and damsels, craftsmen and servants.

Afterwards, the children can try their hand at being medieval scribes and use goose quill and ink to produce and seal precious pieces of writing.

After a little refreshment with gingerbread and grape juice, fun games in the tournament courtyard conclude the programme.
